Empowerment Collective is seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Director to lead our efforts in addressing the complex issues of modern slavery through our four key fellowship programs: Survivor Leadership, Youth Visionary, Cultural Arts Preservation, and Education & Awareness. This role is central to our mission of creating impactful change in communities worldwide. We are in search of a dedicated professional who aligns with our vision and values.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Oversight and Management:

Ensure the successful execution of our fellowship programs, aligning them with our mission and goals.

Strategic Planning and Development:

Craft and implement long-term strategies for the growth and sustainability of the programs.

Team Leadership and Coordination:

Lead, mentor, and foster a collaborative work environment among program coordinators and staff.

Fellowship Selection and Support:

Manage the selection process and provide support for fellowship awardees, fostering a network of collaboration and learning.

Stakeholder Engagement and Partnership Development:

Enhance program reach and impact through strong partnerships and active community engagement.

Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting:

Utilize data to assess program effectiveness and inform strategic decisions.

Advocacy and Public Relations:

Act as a spokesperson for our programs, raising awareness about modern slavery.

Financial Management and Fundraising:

Oversee budgeting, financial management, and fundraising efforts to ensure program sustainability.

Compliance and Risk Management:

Ensure all activities are compliant with relevant laws and ethical standards.

Essential Qualifications:

Multilingual Proficiency:

Fluency in English, Hindi, Nepali, and Urdu-based dialects of the villages on the border of India and Nepal is crucial for effective engagement with our diverse communities.

Experience:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing social business or nonprofit work in Nepal and India, with a proven track record in strategic program development and leadership.

Skills:

Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, communication, and organizational skills are required.
